CBA LIBRIS BOOKSELLER OF THE YEAR - 2011
Kennedy is a busy girl who loves realistic fiction and fantasy. Ask her for a great teen recommendation! How does she find time to read? She is a musician who plays the piano and the saxophone and recently got a new puppy that is keeping her VERY busy. A book-lover by genetics, Kennedy is a great addition to our staff!
Some of my favourite teen reads:
The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
The Book Thief - Marcus Zusak (soon to be a movie)
Elsewhere - Gabrielle Zevin
It's Kind of a Funny Story - Ned Vizzini
If you haven't heard of John Green then you surely will soon. He is a best-selling author, internet star, and all around awesome human being. If you're new to John Green I'll recommend starting with his debut novel, Looking For Alaska OR you could pick up his newest book, The Fault In Our Stars, which is being made into a movie! Read them both and decide for yourself which is your favourite, I still can't choose! Once you start you'll be hooked and you will feel the need to read all his books. If you want even more John Green then check out his Youtube channel Vlogbrothers!
