<p>March 2010</p><p>Our esteemed colleague, Dawn has just won the Harper Collins Hand-Seller Award for 2010!This award is given annually to a bookseller who is outstanding at sharing their love of favourite books with customers, friends and co-workers.</p><p>There are many talented booksellers working at The Book Keeper, but I think we would all agree that Dawn has a certain affinity for moving books off the shelf.  Our staff favourite section is the first stop of many customers who have come to check out what we’ve been reading and Dawn is the caretaker of this display.  She keeps it up to date, pestering us for comments to attach to the books, encouraging us to change up our choices and sometimes stacking the section with her own favourites.</p><p>If you've ever been helped by Dawn, then you know that she always goes out of her way to make sure you have just the right book.</p><p>Congratulations Dawn!  We are so proud of you and you are so deserving of this recognition!</p>

<p>WOW! Now THAT was a party!!!! We had about 500 people show up to welcome Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows into the world at our Midnight Release Party! Tons of people, young and old, showed up in fabulous costumes. Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who volunteered and The Book Keeper staff (and their families) for making this such an outstanding event!!!</p><BR /><p>If you click on a picture, you can watch it like a slide show and see the captions too!</p>
